Results of referendum

A referendum ballot of the membership regarding proposed changes to the Local Constitution was held from Wednesday, May 9, 2012 to Wednesday, May 16, 2012 and the results have been tabulated. Here are the results:
Yes – 487
No – 505
Total number of ballots cast – 1, 015
Spoiled ballots – 23
Election committee – Brad Wiffen, Leslie Mercier-Davison and Simon Fisher.
