Trail Times • Reporter

The Trail Times has an opening for reporter/photographer. This is temporary position, covering a maternity leave.
As a member of the news team, you will write news stories and take photos of the Greater Trail events, cover city council and other public meetings and respond to breaking news stories. Must work well under pressure, meet daily deadlines and be a flexible self-starter with a reliable digital camera and vehicle.
This position is four days per week, with the potential for full-time work during holiday relief periods.
Computer literacy is essential, experience with layout in InDesign an asset, newspaper experience or a diploma in journalism preferred. Some weekend and evening work is involved.
