The Queen’s Printer, Electronic Publishing Services department, has an opportunity for a Programmer Analyst to provide support for development, maintenance and enhancement of customer applications and websites. Salary: $52,888.23 annually ($28.96 per hour)
The position works as part of a team of people to create web, databases and software products for customers to meet their needs. The position liaises with customers, web developers and editorial staff to create new and innovative ways of disseminating customer documents in a secure networking environment. The position works individually or as part of a team, on small and large projects.

Ideally you will have graduated from a related program with either a degree in Computer Science or have accumulated equivalent experience and/or related education. You have related experience in application design and application development languages, debugging, troubleshooting, security and access controls. You are able to self-test your work to create the best products possible.
Knowledge of a variety of programming languages including: C, C++, C#, Java, BV, .net, VBA, ASP, SQL, Perl, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, XST, XSL-FO is required.
You have experience disseminating documents to the Internet and knowledge of issues concerning document accessibility, document searches, semantic markup and document management. You have an understanding of technical architectural principles (system development life-cycle methodology).
