The Okanagan Valley Newspaper Group requires a Press Labourer (Flyboy).
This person must be able to work a variety of shifts, Saturday to Thursday, 3:30 p.m. – 12:45 a.m. and Friday day shift 9:00 a.m. – 6:15 p.m. or Friday evening shift, 6 p.m. – 3:15 a.m. Needs to be in good physical shape and able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs repetitively. Must enjoy working in a team environment, communicate effectively and take direction well.
Forklift and valid Frist Aid, plus previous offset press experience a definite asset. Must have minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent. Good mechanical aptitude essential. May lead to apprenticeship Pressman opportunities.
