Ballots for the election of a Secretary-Treasurer and Vice President are currently being sent out. Some members will already have received them and others will get them soon.
At most larger workplaces you will get your ballot from a shop steward, who will ask you to sign your name on a voters list. Others will receive their ballot directly by mail. Members on sick leave or a leave of absence will have ballots mailed to them at home.
If you have not received a ballot by Monday, Oct. 26, please contact the union office at [email protected] or call 604-408-0746.
All ballots must be returned by November 6, 2015.
Voting instructions are included with each ballot package. It is important to note that you will be voting for two positions. Both ballots are to be returned in the same small brown envelope!
That small brown envelope must be placed in the larger outer envelope, on which you must clearly print your name and sign in the designated space.
This should be returned to the union office in one the following ways:

  1. By returning it to your steward.
  2. By mail.
  3. In person.

All ballots must be delivered or mailed no later than close of business on November 6, 2015.
