CLC Winter School

CEP Local 2000 is inviting applications for the CLC Winter School, which runs one-week long union courses from January 16 to February 18, 2011.
The Local may send up to four members for courses ranging from collective bargaining to steward training to arbitrations. Our focus will be sending members at the intermediate level, those who have already completed courses within our local, or have been involved in some sort of a leadership role (serving as a shop steward or on a bargaining committee, for example).
The Local will pay for costs associated with travel to the school (at Harrison Hot Springs Hotel), registration, living expenses and lost pay.
