It can also make changes to existing bylaws, or remove them altogether. Resolutions passed in Local Congress can be passed on to the National Union Council. Resolutions must be submitted to your employer Council Chair or chair-designate. For a copy of the current local by-laws, please click HERE.

SUBMISSION OF THE RESOLUTION
Resolutions are typed verbatim as they are received. If the resolution is done incorrectly, it will not be considered at the Annual Congress as there will be no interpretation of what was intended. Resolutions go to your Council for debate and the Council will then submit it to Annual Congress. If you need help writing a resolution or have questions, you can contact Brian at [email protected].
Please send all resolutions by 5 p.m. September 16, 2024 to your Council Chair or chair-designate (listed previously) or by email to the union office at [email protected].
In Solidarity,

Bill Catterall
