Bocking to step down at end of 2016

To the Members of Unifor Local 2000:
At the most recent meeting of Unifor Local 2000’s executive committee, I tendered my formal resignation as Local President, effective December 31, 2016.
It has been an incredible privilege to have served the members of this Local for the last 19 years and as president of Local 115, of the Vancouver – New Westminster Newspaper Guild, for eight years before that. In that time, I have met and worked with so many dedicated people in the newspaper and print industry and the union movement, many who have become very good friends.
