DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the Press Supervisors and Manufacturing Manager, the Stackerman exhibits job
relevant knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties and requirements of a Stackerman.
Supporting production flow by ensuring all products coming off the press are bundled and stacked in
accordance to the requirements of the customer. The Stackerman is responsible for the basic
maintenance and operation of the stacker machines including; in feed section, upper/lower bin settings,
air supply control and programming. Operating all equipment required in accordance with Health and
Safety requirements. General cleaning of all press equipment, machines and areas around the presses.
Understands, embraces and adheres to 5S workplace organization standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of Grade 12 is preferred.
Attention to detail & accuracy.
Reliable.
Has knowledge of Safety Awareness.
Works independently with minimal supervision.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work shifts.
Manufacturing industry experience.
Organizational and prioritizing skills.
Basic Math Skills.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Rate of Pay: $15.80 per hr as per the UNIFOR Local 780G Collective Agreement. At least 3 months in the position is required to gain a full knowledge and understanding of the role. Experience in the printing industry is a strong asset, knowledge of printing techniques, processes, products and equipment. Bonafide physical requirements to carry out the duties of the role include; standing, walking, climbing, lifting and carrying up to 25lbs. through 12 hour shifts.
