You can vote in advance from October 10–13 and October 15–16, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Advanced voting will be closed Monday, October 14 for Thanksgiving. |
You can vote at any advance voting place in the province, and all advance voting places are wheelchair accessible. However, not all advance voting places are open every day of the advance voting period. Make sure to check your Where to Vote card or visit wheretovote.elections.bc.ca to find advance voting places and the dates they are open. |
Identification
To vote, you must prove your identity and current address. You can do this by:
- Bringing one of the following pieces of ID:
- A B.C. driver’s licence
- A B.C. Identification Card (BCID)
- A B.C. Services Card (with photo)
- Another card issued by the Government of B.C. or Canada that shows your name, photo and address
- A Certificate of Indian Status
- Bringing two pieces of ID, both containing your full name, and with one showing your current address.
- Having another registered voter from your electoral district, a spouse, a parent, a grandparent, an adult child, an adult grandchild or an adult sibling vouch for you.
